I have already told in another video, there is no material that achieve zero resistivity except some material which can archive Zero resistivity. In the year 1911, Kanerlinghonnes was the scientist who told the concept of super conductor. The material which archive zero resistivity are called as superconductors. The material which he used for super conductor experiment is mercury(which is a liquid metal). At 4.2 Kelvin, mercury attains superconductivity. This is the only super conductor material which work in nearly room temperature, there is no super conductor material found which works in room temperature.
The main advantage of the superconductor is the value of current and voltage given in one side is same on the another end.In future, if we discovered the superconducting material works in the room temperature. There is no need to use transformers in between the power plant and our house. We can connect one end of the superconductor to power plant and another end to our house.
